Monday, January the 5th, 2009 under cloudy skies, light
drizzle rain, with the temperature at thirty-two degrees.

"The angel of the Lord encampeth round
about them that fear him, and delivereth
them. O taste and see that the Lord is good:

blessed is the man that trusteth in him."

This year as I have tried to look back over the years and take a good look at all the
things that the Lord has supplied, the blessing of life, a good home, fine children,
great grandchildren, a wonderful wife, and good transportation. I find that Lord has
supplied our every need. Now to the best of things in a spiritual way. The Lord has

led me on, he has directed my foot steps, he has put my feet upon the rock, he has led
my mind in the way of truth, and he has shown his presence with me time and time
again. He has lifted me up out of the pit of sorrows, and out of depending on self to
depending on him. Then he leads me to the church where the truth is being preached.

He has given me ears to hear the precious gospel preached in power to these believ-
ing ears. He has blessed my ministry, and blessed me with good friends that preach
the same truth that I have being trying to preach for these many years. He has blessed
the church that I serve with much rejoicing in the Lord. Blessed me with members

that care about the truth and the welfare of its members. The list just goes on and on
that I do not have the words to tell. "O taste and see that the Lord is good."
