"Who was delivered for our offences, and raised
again for our justification.” (Romans 4:25) Just
a short thought in passing this morning as we read
this verse. "Who was delivered for our offences."
There those that feel that they have to deliver
Christ to you through the gospel that you might have
a chance to being delivered. We are not speaking
about us delivering Christ, but speaking about
Christ being delivered unto us. Christ did not come
by accident, but was sent, was delivered and he came
freely. He says; "They take not my life, I lay it
down, I have power to lay it down, and I have power
to take it up again." This was done because of
our offences, because of our sins and through his
deliverance we stand just before God. And because we
were made just Christ was raised again, and that
resurrection declared us just.
