A Thought on Proverbs 30:8,9

Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny Thee and say, Who is the Lord? Or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (Jas 5:16) Let us likewise be prayerful that the Lord will be our help in putting away the desires for status or riches in the house of God, that nothing of the world may come in with us, lest our worship be vanity before Him. Praise ye the Lord!
 

ABOUT YOURSELF

• If you are doing something for yourself, don't try to

 fool folks in to believing you are doing it for the Lord.

• Son, the only way you can know you are doing for

others, is by being sure the only benefit you will get

for yourself, is the joy of watching them receive it.

• Son, a mirror is a good teacher: When you see

someone in there you can be proud of, you'll see

someone who holds the Lord above himself.

• God has given us faith by His Holy Spirit: Let us follow

faith as it encourages us to boldly follow Him in Truth.

• When we endeavor to do a task in faith; let us prayerfully

inquire of the Lord, that it be to His Honor and Glory.

• Every step we take in faith must be lead by God's Holy Spirit

and not by our own desire and will.

• What God gives us to do; will never be a task too great,

which we cannot do, and He will be our full supply in the doing of it.
 

GRACE IS FREE: 

FREE GIFTS as in = Eph. 2:8-9 --- “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is  the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any  man should boast.  For we are his workmanship, created  in Christ Jesus unto  good works; which God hath before  ordained  that we should walk in them.”

So, if we read the language precisely and carefully we find the following as per: It is NOT GRACE PLUS;  NOT GRACE BUT; NOT GRACE AND; NOT GRACE OR; NOT GRACE WHEN; NOT GRACE WHERE; NOT GRACE WITH; NOT GRACE WHO.  

You have NOTHING TO DO to get the grace.  I repeat, “Nothing .”  Grace is FREE, Grace is a GIFT, & NOT a REWARD. You do not have to ACCEPT a Free Gift “in order to get it.”  Question: Did you have to accept NATURAL life, in order to  receive it?   The total answer is  NO.  So your SPIRITUAL life is also a GREAT BIG NO. Enough said.  The GOSPEL only tells us about this wonderment.
