I asked my Daddy once: What has Jesus really
done for you?
He said: “Well son, if I were to tell you
everything the Lord has done for me, we would be
here all day; but if I can just remember the things
which are most important to me, they seem to include
everything else.” What are they, I asked? He said:
"Well I thank God for, a life to live, both here and
above; your mom and family in a house filled with
love: A country to live in, and the right to live
free; And a church where His children all care about
me!"
I said, how can all that happen to me? He said: “Son
God gave you a freedom no one can take away from
you, the freedom to pray to Him for what you need!”

"I will lift up mine eyes unto the
hills, from which cometh my help. My help cometh
from the Lord, which made heaven and earth."
(Psalms 121:1-2)
There
is so many things about this verse that we could
say, but there is not enough paper and ink to take
care of what has already been written and will be
written. It seems as if David is making a promise
to himself and unto the Lord. "I will lift up mine
eyes unto the hills, from which cometh my help."
(Which cometh) seems to carry the thought, of a
continuing help, have come in the past, help is
coming now, and help will continue to come. I will
lift up mine eyes to a higher plain, because my help
comes from above. My help comes from the Lord that
has never failed to help in time of need, it comes
directly out of heaven of where we have been
positioned in Christ. This heaven was made by him
and waiting for our coming. Yet as we wait, there
is a storehouse of blessings that he sends or brings
to us as we continue to lift up our eyes unto the
hills which cometh our help.

Before you
endeavor to come to God, read Rom. 5:10: You are too late,
to prepare yourself to meet Him; for when we were counted
enemies unto Him He reconciled us unto Himself, by the death
of His Son! God is already satisfied, and has made you
accepted by the sacrifice of His Son.
Have you ever
heard someone talk about getting ready for Heaven? Not to
worry, God will do that for you, and it will happen in just
a moment, and you won't even realize it happened. In 1Cor.
15:51,52 it says: “we shall all be changed, in a
moment, in the twinkling of an eye.” The word moment
here is “atomos” or the space of an atom. I don't
even know anyone who can think about what they would wear
that quick! |

Isa 4:1 And in
that day seven women shall take hold of one
man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and
wear our own apparel: only let us be called
by thy name, to take away our reproach.
4:2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD
be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of
the earth shall be excellent and comely for
them that are escaped of Israel.

Isaiah 4:1-2
– Prophecy
of the New Testament Church’s Future, being troubled
with this erroneous doctrine and practice. Yes,
Isaiah, through Divine Inspiration, saw the future
750 years in advance, referencing the major problem
with the New Testament Church would be plagued with
an attitude of their OWN doctrine and practice, but
will still need to be identified with the Proper
NAME of Jesus Christ. This has been the historical
facts of the last 2000 years now. Verse 2 declares
the Spiritual Wonderment of those that can escape
from these “worldly endowments” of “do your own
thing,” adding to whatever your carnal desires may
be, and leaving off whatever does not appeal to the
flesh – “window-dressing.” The ones that have
escaped are a remnant few, but they are the TRUE New
Testament Church, seeing her as most beautiful and
glorious, Spiritually (Matt. 7:13-14). Yet, now, the
last few years those of Isaiah 4:1 – have even
modified their “bread” and “raiment” more so by
departing from the NAME, as such, they deem, is a
hindrance to their growth. Many of them now have no
Denominational Identity in their Names, yet they are
“growing organizations,” at least numerically. Now
where do we look for the biblical truth? In the
DOCTRINE & PRACTICE & NAME – Acts 2:42.

"Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble,
and he saventh them out of their distresses. He
sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them
from their destructions. Oh, that men would praise
the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful
works to the children of men." (Psalms
107:19-21)
The
thought that I want is "He sent his word and
healed them."
How many times have we been discouraged and felt
that all was lost? How many times have we been
broken hearted and felt that there was no healing?
How many times have we been laid up sick or our
loved in a much worse condition and we felt that our
prayers will not be answered? It seems as things
could not get any worse, and someone would come
along as the Lord was sending his word to you. The
news would lift you up, it would comfort your heart,
and it would bring peace from afar. You felt as if
the Lord had come with healing in his wings, took
you up into his arms and spoke to you from his
word. "Oh, that men would praise the Lord for
his goodness."
