Psalms 119:67 – David writes: “Before I was AFFLICTED I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.” Further in verse 71 – “It is good for me that I have been AFFLICTED; that I might learn thy statutes.” Read all verses from 67—71.

The truth must always be RIGHTLY DIVIDED, so we post herein there are TWO categories of AFFLICTION in the King James Translation: such as the 1st being NATURAL birth Psalms 58:3 - “The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking Lies.” The 2nd to be considered is the SPIRITUAL birth, back in Psalms 119:67.

Now we turn to the New Testament, Romans 7:9 – where Paul writes  “For I was alive without the law once: but when the Commandment came, sin revived and I died.” Read also verse 10. So, this is clear and I close with this affirmation in Zeph.3:12 “I will also leave in the midst of thee an AFFLICTED and poor people and they shall Trust in the name of the Lord."
