• If we at last do fervently desire to know God more perfectly, then we at first must fervently labor in His word, to ascertain who He declares Himself to be.

• Our desire as God's children, to boldly come to the throne of grace, is found in the certainty of meeting our High Priest, who can be touched with the feeling of our infirmities.

• Many of us can't sing like we would want to in church; but Jesus sings with us just the same, because He is not ashamed to call us brethren.

We by prayer and thanksgiving, let our requests be made known unto God; for if we don't find ourselves thankful for what He has given, where then, is there room for requesting?

"For we walk by faith, not by sight;"
(2nd Corinthians 5:7)

Sometimes we get the idea that we will or can prove to everyone that God is real, that Jesus is the Son of God, that Jesus died for our sins according to the scriptures and he did. But to those that are void of faith can not believe because they have no faith. Faith is a fruit of the spirit, therefore if a person is not born of God, he has no faith and can not believe that Jesus is the Christ. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and evidence of things not seen. You see, we are able to see God through an eye of faith. "For we walk by faith, not by sight."
