A Place (Exodus 33:21)

There is a place our God hath given; A rock where we must stand
A place in the holy clift be hid, Then covered by God's hand.
A place of comfort sweet; A place of blessing be;
A place in the Rock of heavenly love; In hope of glory see!

A place where grace doth reign; while all His works displayed;
A place to view my Lord and King; In truth and life arrayed.
A place where we may know; And whilst His glory moved by;
We see His works of power and love; His back parts fill our eyes !

A place where now our Lord is viewed; So glorious to our eye ;
A place where we see God and King, Coming, as if on high.
A place where we can stand secure; His finished work behold,
To see all things done well; And hearing His glory told!

LIKE DADDY

USED TO SAY

• Son, the real way to tell if you are smart is, to keep track

of how many times you don't do what you wanted to.

• And, the real way to judge your character, is to remember

how many times you stop, and do the right thing.

• Son, remember; you are always going to be an example, and

you're the one that decides what kind that will be.

The Authorized King James Translation

There are FIVE items we all need to learn and not forget. The King James translation was brought into existence in 1604 to 1611 with:

     1. Letters of 3,568,484**
     2. Words of 810,697**
     3. Verses 31,175 **
     4. Chapters 1189
     5. Books of 66.

There were forty-seven scholars who undertook this grand labor who were hand chosen, and highly qualified to do the work. Each one of these scholars were tasked with the job of examining the work of one another, to ensure total agreement on every word.

We learn five important things from this translation by by quoting from Psalms 100:3:

     1. The Lord, He is God
     2. He hath made us
     3. Not we ourselves
     4. We are His People
     5. The Sheep of His Pasture.

We learn from the clarity of this translation that there are TWO different SALVATIONS.

Eternal, is all of the work of the Holy Trinity, and the other is a TIMELY PASTURE that only a few of His Sheep graze in, which is very limited compared to the massive Eternal innumerable.

Jesus spoke this clearly in His ministry in Matt. 7:13-14, and Paul instructed Timothy in his early training to RIGHTLY DIVIDE The Word of Truth – 2nd Tim. 2:15.

** EXAMINATION of the Authorized Version or Translation of King James Bible today (KJT), bears precisely the same identity, and still meets these exact standards for publication, under the King's Seal.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! (Psalm 133:1)

   Simple cartoon drawing of an elderly, slightly overweight man wearing glasses and suspenders, looking up to the sky

First I want to say that there is a large difference in dwelling together in unity than dwelling in union. The word (unity) carries the thought as being in unity as having the same mind frame, desiring the same things, standing for the same truth as to being as one in mind and purpose. David says; "How good and and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity."

It is something precious, something that is highly prized, something that brings us together as to dwell in the same house at peace with one another. There will be no divisions, but will be in accord with one another. It will bring stability to the house, strengthens our faith and peace without end.

Know Where You're Going?

The one thing I have always loved about the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ: She has always used the same Bible; She still stands for the same truth, order and practice, and her ministers still preach without a written outline. She still sings the same songs, with shape note music... Oh yes! And lunch is still after meetings.

On some days, and in some places, I might have a little trouble and lose my way; but on Sunday, I know where my Church is, and that's where I'm going to be Lord willing!
