Psalm 1:1-3 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the
counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of the sinner, nor sitteth in
the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in
his law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers
of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his
season; his leaf also shall not wither; and
whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Always watch the middle stripe when you
travel: If you move
too far one way or the other,
you will wind up in the ditch.
When there is an argument going on, the
worst
thing you can do is jump into the middle of
it.
Sometimes the middle ground, is a good
place to be,
but most of the time you will get
attacked by both sides.
Truth doesn't have a middle ground, and you
will
always know where you stand if it is upon the
truth.
How big is the middle ground? Just big
enough
to where you can still see the truth, and a
lie.
Why is conciliation usually found in the
middle? Because conciliation
is where an arbitrator can find weak principle on one side or the other.
Jesus - always in the middle, keeping us
right with God. |

“Who
Are You?”
You be not
who you say you are, but what your witness shows;
You be not
what you say you are, but every eye still knows.
Your
character not as you like to think, but as your friends do
see;
Your
honesty, what you say and do, not as you think it be.
Your
claim to acts of faith and love, to walk the pathway
straight;
Your boast
of deeds to needy souls, and on your neighbors wait.
Now look
upon your self and own, and tell what you may see:
Alas!
Lord, I'm a sinner, who owes his all to thee.
There is
no scroll of honors, no goodness I may boast;
But a
wounded wretch whose happy, you've sent your Holy Ghost.
If there
be any honor, to which I might have claim;
I am the
fruit, of the Worthy Root, Who calls me by His Name! |
Paul says in 2Cor. 5:20, how he, and such who
minister the truth of the gospel to the people of
God, are as ambassadors of to them from God, and
the Lord Jesus Christ; teaching them to know of the
finished work of Christ in the world, and appearing
in the presence of God for them, how He had
accomplished what the Father had sent Him to do (To
reconcile us to Himself by Jesus Christ... 2Cor
5:18). And how His glorious completion of that work
set us peace with God through Him, concerning our
eternal salvation.
Can you imagine sometimes, what a wonderful feeling
it must be to the minister of God, who brings the news
of reconciliation, to the people of God who are also
reconciled to this glorious truth?

"The angel of the Lord encampeth round about
them that fear him, and delivereth them. O taste
and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man
that trusteth in him." (Psalms 34:7-8)

This year as I have tried to look back over the
years and take a good look at all the things that
the Lord has supplied, the blessing of life, a good
home, fine children, great grandchildren, a
wonderful wife, and good transportation. I find
that Lord has supplied our every need. Now to the
best of things in a spiritual way. The Lord has led
me on, he has directed my foot steps, he has put my
feet upon the rock, he has led my mind in the way of
truth, and he has shown his presence with me time
and time again. He has lifted me up out of the pit
of sorrows, and out of depending on self to
depending on him. Then he leads me to the church
where the truth is being preached. He has given me
ears to hear the precious gospel preached in power
to these believing ears. He has blessed my
ministry, and blessed me with good friends that
preach the same truth that I have being trying to
preach for these many years. He has blessed the
church that I serve with much rejoicing in the
Lord. Blessed me with members that care about the
truth and the welfare of its members. The list
just goes on and on that I do not have the words to
tell. "O taste and see that the Lord is good."
