Son, you should never start using a tool you have not tested; drinking of water when you know not it's source; or partake of meats not knowing of the hand that prepared it.

The Lord has given us His Word, which is our well tested tool, for living in honour and truth; drink the water given by the Spirit, and it will teach you of the true ways; and eat of the gospel food from God's living Word through the Spirit of grace.

POINTS TO PONDER      Elder Hulan F. Bass

Ecc. 7:20 – The wise man Solomon wrote this text with deep understanding. “For there is not a JUST man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.”

There are NO exceptions, but ONE – Jesus Christ – Heb. 7:14-15.

Even every born-again Regenerated Child of God, as an elect inwardly, still sins because they still carry around the OUTWARD fallen and corrupt nature of Adam; they still sin. This fact is still intact with so-called honorable persons, as they try to convince you of some “oddity” to “make a sale.

The expression of TIMING is found in this context as referring to Gal. 3:28-29 – “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus, And if ye be Christ’s, are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” So this lesson goes back to Gen. 1:1 – The initial Creation of all things even making the first human - Gen. 2:7, so we then go forward through the seed of Abraham, including his son Isaac, then Abraham's grandson Jacob, who started the 12 Tribes as found in Gen. 49:1-33, including the period of total destruction of all humanity which also included some of God's sons in the days of Noah’s Flood, at which time only 8 human-beings remained alive, (Noah and his family) Gen. 6-

chapter 10:1. So here is the family history of the generations of humanity which died, before the 12 Tribes of Jacob – Gen. 49. Even though Moses later wrote the first 5 books in the Bible, he was not yet born, but was of the 12 tribes. This period of about 3900 years included a multitude of people both of the elect and non-elect. The many elect family members of God’s people, who had then so lived and died, had their names recorded in the Everlasting Covenant written before Gen. 1:1. So, John factually granted and testified that all of God’s elect family in Rev. 5:9 to have been chosen OUT OF EVERY kindred, tongue, people and nation.

"But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."(James 1:4-5)

Prior to these two verses, the teaching is that God can not be tempted nor tempt he any man. The reason is because he is without sin. If he could tempt any man, he would have to have a sin nature and if that were the case we would all be lost and would perish. Man can be tempted because of our sin nature and therefore we could and can tempt others with sin. When sin is finished, it bringeth forth death. Every person with a sin nature will die because of that sin nature. Now back to God, and back to Christ. They can not sin because they have no sin nature and if it were possible that they could sin then it would be possible for God to die. Now who would want a God like that? Brother George
